Experiment Tour

This is a schematic diagram of the ATLAS detector. The components shown in various colors will be described to you in this tour, as will the basic physics involved with their purpose. This tour will give you general information about detectors, and then will talk specifically about the ATLAS detector.

The ATLAS detector is about the size of a five story building.
